Miss Hannah

Of course, a girl needs a purse and some sparkle. :)

Remember my post about Hannah? If, not, read down a few posts.

I have been Christmas shopping for Hannah and it has been such a joy. I pray that Miss Hannah will feel such joy on Christmas and feel God's love. I can see her smile now. :) My greatest prayer is that Hannah will have a forever family soon.

Thought You'd Be Here

Thought You'd Be Here

~Wes King

We thought you'd be here by now

your Mother and I

We're praying through our

tears that somehow

We might hear your sweet cry

Have we waited to long

It's getting harder to be strong

Is there something we've done wrong

But if you like dancing

I'll make it rain rhythm

and rhyme and melodies, child

And if you like dreaming

Your Mother will make your

imagination run wild

Somehow,

we thought you'd be here by now

We have a room just for you, upstairs

It's right down the hall

So we'll be close should

you ever get scared

We'll come when you call

It's a room full of stories

Waiting to be told

Longing to behold

And if you like laughing

I'll paint you a circus of smiles

and ferris wheels, dear

And if you like living

Your Mother will fly you

to worlds both far and near

Somehow....

I never knew the silence

could make me so deaf

I never knew that I could

miss someone I never met

Miss someone I haven't met yet

We'll be waiting

May Your Cloud Bring a Little Sunshine

God's timing is always so amazing to me. Hubby and I are part of a Bible Study with 3 other couples and 3 out of 3 of us who are desiring to start a family are walking through infertility. Our struggles with infertility came only after we had been meeting for awhile, so God knew we would need each other.

The book we are studying is just perfect for us and where we are in life. I highly recommend this book How to Let God Solve Your Problems 12 Keys to Finding Clear Guidance in Life's Trials by Charles F. Stanley.

I would like to quote a section from the book. I hope it encourages you as much as it has encouraged me today.

When problems come and you do not understand why, ask the Lord,"What are You saying to me? Do You want to reshape something in my life? Are You purifying me for a purpose, redirecting me for a reason?" God always will make His way through the storm clear to you. You may not understand why the clouds have appeared, but you can trust the One who has allowed them to gather. God never wastes our sorrows. Whatever you are facing today, you can be sure that He will use it in some dramatic way tomorrow to bring glory to Himself and to bless you.

May we take a little time this week to smile at the clouds because we know God has a great plan for us and our sorrows will not be wasted.
