The First Post

This blog has been nearly 35 years in the making. I know you are thinking "there was no such thing as blogs way back in 1974." You are right, there were no blogs in 1974, but that was the year God created me and in that time He knew I would be sitting here writing this first post. I write this first post with a little fear and wonder if I should really be putting myself out to the world like this. I have learned that in life God gives us struggles and thankfully we don't have to walk those struggles alone. In the last few months, I have felt like God has wanted me to do "something" with my pain of not being able to conceive. So, this is my attempt to be transparent; to be authenic; to be a witness; to minister to and to be ministered to.

I have recently done a book search for a Christian book that deals with infertility. I believe this search was the first stepping stone God wanted me to take to get to here this blog to share with you. It has been since I first opened this book that I have felt lead to do "something" with my pain.

Right now, it seems that this blog will largely reference Jennifer Saake's book Hannah's Hope.
