Pretty In Pink

I had to laugh the other day as I was doing Faith's laundry...in one word PINK! It is a good thing I love PINK, too.

Faith is also learning to hold things in her hand. It is so fun to watch when she notices things around her.

I love this expression. It is like she is saying, "you crazy people!"

Faith has amazing core strength for her gestational age. She loves to sit on our lap and stand with one of us holding her waist. Faith on the other hand, does not like tummy time and is lacking the strength in her neck. At this rate, she will walk before she crawls.

Faith has also become much more observant. I decided to hook on the mobile and see how she liked it. Just yesterday, I found her looking at her hand. I had to giggle as she was cross eyed and it was as if she was saying, "hmm, what is that?"

Tomorrow we have weight check at the doctor's office. I am curious to see how much she weighs these days.

4 Months on the 4th!

Here is our little sweetie at 4 mos. This really was not what I had in mind for a picture of a happy girl. I planned to retake the picture, but time has gotten away from us and well...this really is how our girl has spent most of the 2 mos. she has been home...in tears. Sigh... It has been super tough that is for sure to have your baby; who we have waited YEARS for, be so "unhappy." I know this time will pass, but as much as I want the time to pass and get past this "phase" I really don't want it to go too fast because I want to enjoy this time she is an infant. I have been on quite the journey through this and someday I will share more on that topic.

One thing that Faith is doing more and more that I LOVE is cooing/talking. So love that interaction!

Shots, Bunny Talk, and Daddy Time!

I am going to be tall like daddy~ 90th percentile for height on the preemie growth chart. Mommy was always in the 5th percentile for height.

Bunny Friend is my favorite toy. I have been starting to 'talk' to bunny now and can be entertain by her for about 5 minutes. Mom can finally get 1 thing done a day. Woot!

Daddy is so good at helping me calm down and relax...do I look relaxed here?! :)
