Faith in Philly!

We packed up our suitcases and headed to Philly!  My grandma hasn't seen Faith and being that she is 91 flying is too hard for her.  She was unable to fly and be here for her daughter's (my mom) funeral and that was really hard for her.  Seeing Faith was something she desperately wanted.

Faith on the way to the airport

At the airport...the calm before the storm!
I'm kind of wondering why I even packed all those toys and spent hours coming up with what to bring since all Faith wanted to do was climb on us nearly all the way to Philly!

Faith getting ready for her first walk around the city with her second cousins!

Her first slide experience!  Can you tell she did not like it much?!

Playing shy or simply not lov'in the city park?!

There is no doubt that Faith loves doggies.  Jessie was the best dog for Faith.  She just layed there while Faith giggled at her or she walked about while Faith chased and continued giggling.  We think Faith's first word may be "Baa Baa"  A.K.A "doggie"

A picture of 3 generations!

Oh, how mom was missed on this trip and the screamingly obvious hole of her absence.

Celebrating 4 years!

It is hard to believe 4 years have past, but they have!  I am so blessed to be married  to the perfect mate for me.  God sure knew what he was doing~ why we chose the song, "When God Made You" by Newsong to be sung at our wedding.  Truly the perfect song!

14 Months and a Little Silly!

Where did my baby go?  Faith is definately transitioning out of babyhood and into toddlerhood.  As much fun as I am having now with her, I sniff sniff a little to think she is not a baby anymore.

We are starting to see a silly side of Faith.  She is loving to giggle and when she rounds a corner and we say, "boo" she giggles and toddles off as fast as she can go giggling all the way.  It is pure bliss!

Faith has noticed Gemma bear more and more.  She loves carrying the bear around and as much as it touches my heart, I just had to put it away for now.   Somedays it just makes me too sad to see that bear and the reminder of my mom.  Plus, Faith discovered the button eyes and was pulling on them.  So, now the bear is sitting in Faith's room watching out for her. :)
