Miss Hannah's Smile

I think I need to return the monkey stuffed animal and replace it with a doggie. :)

Lessons In Waiting

I mentioned a few posts back a book that our Bible Study is going through. It has turned out to be the most perfect book (How To Let God Solve Your Problems by Charles F. Stanley) for me in this season of my life.

A few highlights below!

"We may not understand why our sufferings linger or the reason the trial we are facing does not let up, but God knows. And if we will trust Him in the midst of it, He will bring us to a place of blessing."

My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are you ways My ways. Isaiah 55:8

"When we submit ourselves to His plan- even if it includes trial and heartache- we position ourselves for tremendous blessing."

Cast all you anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5: 5-7

"Remember, He is not the One who created adversity, but He uses it to strengthen our faith and mold our lives so that we reflect His love and grace to others. It is in the hard places in life that we learn the deeper truths of God."

What truths are you learning?

Glimpse

As you know in this infertility journey there are lots of 'why' questions.

Why are we struggling with this?
Why is this timing not right when it seems like the perfect timing to me?
Why does it seem like it is so easy for everyone else?
Why did You chose us to walk this difficult path?
We don't always get the answers to our questions. But, God has given me glimpses this past week. For the first time in 15 months I can say "I can see a purpose in my infertility." I can't even begin to describe the beauty in that my dear friends and readers. I pray that God would give you one glimpse of purpose in whatever journey you are on.
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
2 Corinthians 12:9-10

Miss Hannah

Of course, a girl needs a purse and some sparkle. :)

Remember my post about Hannah? If, not, read down a few posts.

I have been Christmas shopping for Hannah and it has been such a joy. I pray that Miss Hannah will feel such joy on Christmas and feel God's love. I can see her smile now. :) My greatest prayer is that Hannah will have a forever family soon.
